InteractRx is a web-based clinical decision support tool that provides drug interaction information for clinical pharmacists working in GP surgeries. The service allows users to check medication lists for potential drug interactions, view severity rankings, access dosage guidance, and generate clinical summaries with references to BNF and NICE sources.
By creating an account or using InteractRx, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
InteractRx provides drug interaction information as a clinical decision support tool. It does not replace clinical judgement, the full BNF, or direct patient assessment. All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the prescriber and the reviewing pharmacist. InteractRx should be used as one component of a comprehensive clinical assessment, not as the sole basis for prescribing decisions.
While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and currency of our interaction data, no automated system can guarantee completeness. Always cross-reference critical clinical decisions with primary sources (BNF, NICE, SPCs) and exercise professional judgement.
To use InteractRx, you must create an account using a valid professional email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
New accounts are eligible for a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required during the trial period. At the end of the trial, you may subscribe to continue using the service or your account will be deactivated.
You agree to use InteractRx only for its intended purpose as a clinical decision support tool. You must not:
All content, features, and functionality of InteractRx -- including but not limited to the software, interaction database, user interface, text, graphics, and logos -- are owned by InteractRx Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use InteractRx for its intended clinical purpose within your GP surgery. This licence does not grant you any right to reproduce, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the service.
Clinical summaries generated by the service may be copied and shared within the context of patient care (e.g., sharing with a GP to support a prescribing decision). They may not be republished or distributed commercially.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until that date.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of your subscription.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or your use of InteractRx shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice within the InteractRx application at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
